How to Connect Your Watch & Running Apps
RunningAid reads completed workouts from Apple Health or Health Connect. Follow these steps to ensure your watch or running app shares data with your phone's health store.
1
Track with Apple Watch or Connect Your App
If you use an Apple Watch, your runs sync to Apple Health automatically. If you use a third-party app like Strava or Fitbit, make sure Apple Health sync is turned on in its settings.
2
Grant Health Permissions
Open RunningAid and navigate to the Progress or Runs tab. When the 'Health Data Access Required' screen appears, tap 'Go to Settings' and grant all requested permissions in the Apple Health dialog.
3
Sync Runs Automatically
Your completed runs, including GPS route and heart rate data, sync from your health store into RunningAid automatically.
