Cubog Software LLC ("we," "our," or "us"), the developer of the RunningAid mobile application (the "App"), is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application (the "App"). Please read this policy carefully. By using the App, you agree to the practices described below.

2.1 Information You Provide

We collect information you voluntarily provide when you create an account, use the App, or contact us for support. This may include your email address, name, and any information you submit through forms or communications.

2.2 Health & Fitness Data

With your explicit permission, the App may access health and fitness data from Apple HealthKit or Google Health Connect, including workout history, heart rate, step count, and other activity metrics. Workout and performance history may be processed by our third-party AI services to generate, adapt, and personalize your training plan. However, health and fitness data obtained from Apple HealthKit or Google Health Connect will never be used for marketing or advertising purposes, nor will it be sold to data brokers or third parties or used to train public AI models. You can withdraw health data permissions at any time through your device settings.

2.3 Location Data

With your permission, the App collects location and GPS data during active workouts to calculate distance, pace, and display route maps. Route data is stored locally on your device and is not uploaded to our cloud servers. Your coarse location (latitude and longitude) may be transmitted to a third-party weather service to retrieve local weather conditions for completed workouts, but this data is not retained by that service for other purposes.

2.4 Usage Data

We automatically collect certain information when you use the App, including app interactions, feature usage, crash reports, and device information (operating system version, device model). This data helps us improve the App and diagnose issues.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

  • To provide, maintain, and improve the App's functionality
  • To generate and personalize your training plans using artificial intelligence
  • To track and display your fitness progress
  • To communicate with you about the App, including support inquiries
  • To detect, prevent, and address technical issues
  • To comply with legal obligations

4. Data Sharing and Artificial Intelligence

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

Artificial Intelligence Services

We use third-party artificial intelligence and cloud processing services to analyze your profile inputs, training preferences, and workout performance data to generate and update personalized running plans and provide coaching insights. Your personal information and health metrics are not used by us or our third-party AI providers to train public models.

Service Providers

We may engage third-party companies to facilitate our App's functionality (such as cloud storage, database hosting, and analytics). These providers have access to your information only to perform tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.

Business Transfers

In the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

The App is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
